We’re the Halls – the new owners of Peninsula Out of Doors!

I (Jessie) grew up in Wiarton and spent my childhood working for my parent’s business – Deacon’s Hardware Store. 

My husband, Dustin, grew up in the Hamilton area and always had his hands in the dirt! He worked for the family landscaping business and then started his own construction landscaping venture.

As we looked for a way to move our young family back up to the Peninsula, we can honestly say the stars aligned here – purchasing Peninsula Out of Doors was a dream come true.

As the original owners, Don and Wendy Cameron, “hand over the watering wand”, we are honoured to continue the legacy that they championed for over 30 years – quality products, superior customer service, and competitive prices.

With over 12,000 square feet of greenhouses, we plant the majority of our stock. We do all of the hanging baskets ourselves and seed the majority of our veggies, filling thousands of pots to slowly but surely fill up all 8 of our greenhouses.

Peninsula Out of Doors is your all-in-one stop for annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and aggregates. Stop in and stroll through the greenhouses, browse through the gift shop, and leave inspired to get your hands dirty.
